BOOKING FEE

1. £10 per person is required as a booking fee to secure the wedding day. The remaining amount is due anytime up to 1 week before the wedding. Bookings made with less than 1 calendar month until the event are payable in full upon booking to secure the date.

2. Dates are given on a first come first serve basis

3. A date cannot be held without a booking fee and the requested date will still be open to other enquiries in the mean time.

4. Trial payments are due on day of your trial.

• Trials will NOT be booked until confirmation by both parties, and when full address and details have been sent by the client and has been confirmed by Layla.

1. You agree that by paying your non-refundable booking fee you are agreeing and accepting to be bound to makeup by layla may business terms and conditions.

 TRAVEL COSTS

1. All road travel to trials and the wedding day is charged at £1/per mile (round trip) and is worked out using post codes.

2. Congestion, toll and parking charges may apply and will be quoted accordingly or where necessary paid in cash on the day.

3. Destination weddings/events – Ground travel in the UK and in country of destination is required as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the wedding/event (and after if necessary).

ADDITIONAL​

1. Accommodation close to the wedding venue may be required for the night before the wedding if; journey time is over 2 hours one way, the start time is 6am or earlier, or there are other foreseeable events/delays.

CANCELLATIONS/POSTPONEMENT

Weddings

1. If you were to postpone the date of your wedding or it has been postponed by any other party and I am unable to perform my duties in which I have been booked for. Please speak to me before you choose a new date and we can work together to make sure I am free. Transfer to a new date would incur a £50 transfer fee.

2. Any bookings that postpone to a different year may be subject to a slight yearly price increase.

IF YOU CANCEL OR CHANGE THE BOOKING

1. All changes to a booking, need to be made via email and by the bride only.

2. Payments for work that has already been carried out is non-refundable.

3. The Booking fee is non refundable if you wish to cancel your wedding date.  Couples will have to claim through their wedding insurance.

4. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking completely:

• Cancelling within 3 months of the agreed wedding date = 50% of the remaining balance still due by the original due date.

• Cancelling 1 month or less prior to the wedding day = 100% of the balance still due.

OCCASIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP

1. All deposits are non refundable 

2. If you cancel with then 24h notice total amount will due.

 

IF I CANCEL OR CHANGE THE BOOKING

1. In the unfortunate event that i am unable to attend on the day, due to illness or for last minute, unforeseen circumstances all efforts will be made to find an alternative stylist/artist to stand in.

2. In the unlikely event that we cannot find a replacement artist, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded.

3. If an assisting artist is needed for large party’s and they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances we may ask for an earlier start time to accommodate original numbers, or a refund can be offered on services that have been forfeited.

IN THE EVENT OF DELAYS ON THE WEDDING DAY

1. Layla May cannot be held accountable in the event of unforeseen delays on the day which are out of their control.

2. If you are aware of factors which could delay or hinder our journey, please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our route. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen factors.

3. No refund or compensation can be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party arriving late to begin our service.

4. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may be a challenge in any way, it’s encouraged for them to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.

PRODUCTS / ALLERGIES

1. The client must inform Layla of any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and afterwards if any sensitivities/problems have been found.

2. Discounts cannot not be given on services if you want to use your own products on the day. We also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the product.

 

WORK REQUIREMENTS

1. To carry out  makeup services, layla will need a minimum of; a cleared table/flat surface to set up and electricity power point.

2. 15 minutes is allocated to set up and be ready in time to start services. If suitable conditions are not provided, make up by layla may cannot be held responsible for delays if time is lost due to this.

USE OF PHOTOS

I hereby give permission for makeup by layla may to use my/our name/s and photos in all forms and photos/videos for for advertising, socials, trade, promotional and any other lawful purposes such as promotion and marketing.
