Layla did my wedding makeup back in October after I’d seen her work on Instagram. I gave her a description and sent some photos of what I liked. She absolutely exceeded my expectations. Her professionalism, her knowledge and her amazing talent made me feel so so special on my wedding day. I have and still have comments on my makeup that day. Layla also did my sister and my mums makeup. My mum doesn’t wear a lot of makeup so was a little nervous before hand but Layla talked her through what products she was using and what type of makeup she was going to do for her skin type, my mum felt a million dollars!
Layla made me feel so at ease on my wedding morning and I’ll be forever grateful to her for making us all feel so special. I really couldn’t have chosen better! Thank you xxx

​I couldn’t recommend Layla more for wedding make up. She is so friendly and bubbly and made sure myself and my bridesmaids were 100% happy with our make up. She made me feel 10/10 on my wedding day and I’m so grateful xx

Layla did my wedding makeup in June and I couldn’t fault her at all! it was a last minute booking as my previous makeup artist cancelled on me and that was such a blessing in disguise, Layla was able to make me feel amazing straight away and knew exactly what to do. She also did my bridesmaids makeup and we were all getting compliments into the night. I had my makeup done before 12pm and my makeup was still fresh right until I went to bed at 1am. Layla stuck around while we did first looks and she was on hand to do last minute touch ups as I was a blubbering mess. Was so grateful to have someone who knew what they were doing and could get on with everything on the day, it saved my stress. I would definitely recommend and will absolutely be using her again on social event

I can’t thank Layla enough for making me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day. From the trial to the big day itself, Layla was so professional and amazing at what she does! Not only did my makeup last all day and night, but you made the whole getting ready morning so calm and enjoyable. My whole bridal party looked amazing and we got so many compliments on our make up! 5 Star ***** Highly Recommend Layla May!
From the very beginning, the day of my trial I knew Layla May would be my wedding MUA. She was so lovely, down to earth and easy to talk to. I spoke to Layla May about what I wanted and she was happy to help and make my vision come to life, we were able to experiment with different colour choices too. Then the day of my wedding I knew I was in good hands, Layla May was on time and helped keep the morning very relaxed and chilled exactly how I wanted it. She was able to get myself, Mother of the Bride and 4 bridesmaids done in the time frame needed. Our make up stayed on ALL day and night, I was extremely impressed with the service. If you’re thinking of booking Layla May go for it! Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed. Lucy xx

I used layla for my wedding make up and I couldn't fault a thing, layla is so friendly and talks you through what she is doing so if you don't like something she is happy to change. My make up looked great and everyone made compliments. Would definitely use layla again :) she also done my bridal party and they were so happy with the results xx

I first contacted Layla in March for my wedding in July and she was able to fit me in. We had a trial and was super nice and chatty which I liked.
On the day we ended up going for a different look than what we did in the trial and it was perfect. Lasted all day and night and was still on the next day as was too tired and drunk to remove it aha!
she was super efficient on the day, everyone was done with plenty of time and even allowed me to watch the prank I pulled on my husband before finishing up.
I would 100% recommend Layla for your makeup!

THE BEST. I didn’t really have any massive ideas make up wise so trusted Layla to do her thing.
She really is so lovely and made me and all the bridesmaids look beautiful taking into account they all had some different ideas.
Make up was amazing and had so many compliments all day. Most importantly I was on the dance floor all night and the make up looked as pristine as when it was applied till midnight when I took it off.
You really won’t find better she even had the sewing kit out for some last minute bridesmaid dress fixes x

I had my make up done by Layla for my wedding day, I paid to have the trial done too which I think is really important to do so you can work out exactly what you want. Layla was really helpful when deciding the right make up style. On my wedding day Layla was brilliant and stayed right up to the moment I was leaving to make sure the makeup was fresh and perfect. I am not a make up person but found the experience very easy and relaxing. Thank you, Layla. highly recommended

​I booked with Layla for my wedding make up. From the moment she arrived for the wedding trial, I knew I had found my make up artist. She created the exact look I was looking for whilst still looking like myself. I had a trial previously with other make up artists and felt like they did not understand the end look I was looking for. Layla checked in with me throughout the process and made changes based on what I wanted. My make up felt lightweight and looked flawless. On the day Layla arrived on time and started the make up for the mother of the bride, I have never seen my mum so confident in her appearance and she absolutely loved the dewy look Layla created. Throughout the morning Layla checked in with me and reassured me and was a real calming influence. I loved the look she created and it lasted all day. I would 100% recommend!!

​Layla has been doing my make up for a few years now so when it came to choosing a make up artists for my wedding day, it was an easy decision for me! She’s not only great at what she does but she’s also reliable, professional and flexible, even squeezing in an extra make up on an already tight schedule for my mum who originally didn’t want it doing, but changed her mind when she see how lovely everyone looked!
